Hi. This is a New alternator that I purchased when I had my CL500. I found alternators were the soft spot on these years of Mercedes so would keep one in stock and take it on long trips. I did not have to use it and have sold the car so I do not need it. Some how the plastic cover one the back got cracked but it did not hurt the alternator but this is reflected in the price.
