Some 2016-2018 KIA Sorento vehicles suffer from a weak antenna housing. The top cover of this antenna housing can be easily ripped off in a car wash. After the top cover is ripped off, the electronics below are exposed to the elements and are subject to further damage. Unfortunately, the cost to repair this antenna at a dealership involves replacing the entire antenna module from the underside of the roof.
