This is a brand new aftermarket transfer case rear case 1/2 for a 246 (electric shift) GM transfer case. The casting number is 30605, the New Venture part number is 30603 or 30961, and the original GM Part number is 12478092. This case already has a new rear bearing for the front output shaft in it as well as a new tailhousing bushing. This case is cast aluminum and is much heavier and stronger than the magnesium.
