Used Pothier manual core splitter. Core splitters are used to split cores lengthwise for study and analysis. This core splitter handles core lengths of up to 3 3/4" and from 3/4" to 2 7/8" in diameter. Easy to use. Simply place the core lengthwise on the vee block, then lower the knife blade by rotaing the hand wheel. When the knife is in frim contact with the core, a sharp blow with the hammer on the rod cap will cleanly split the core. Shipping weight 50 lbs....
