Your old remote head key may work but the key is broken. The key is not attached to the remote so if the plastic case could isn't staying together, or the plastic broke where it connects to your keychain. This replacement case will solve that problem. Have a local automotive locksmith to cut the key by copying your old key and then you can move the remote section from your old remote head key to the new case.
