This is a Carter 4 barrel carburetor number 9400S. It has a manual choke. It's a 400 CFM carb, which makes it a good carb to use on a 6 cylinder or small V8 motor. These are NOT shiny like an Edelbrock, but then Edelbrock doesn't make a carb this small, and Carter hasn't made these for many years.
