Hello This carb will also fit1971-74 Beetles but you will need to purchase an carb adapter readily available from the larger VW parts stpres here on ebay. You will also need to transfer the electric dle cutoff Valve from your old carburetor. I took this carb apat and cleaned out all passages and Jets with carburetor cleaner.
