This is a used Carter BB-1 rebuilt by Carter as a D model and then used a short time then put on the shelf for yeeeeaars. This was purchased with 2 other Carter parts for a 20s Buick 6 cylinder. The D model I've just learned is a newer version of the BB carb lower part of the can is aluminum or an alloy it fits everything the B B -1 does it just a little lighter.
