BMW AIRHEAD, R80, R80RT, R80GS, 84.775, 800cc PISTONS These pistons are the earlier higher piston dome, 9.2 compression, iron sleeve cylinder type, (note the higher domes, the later 8.2 compression, nikasil cyl. type were a flat top type piston). Skirts show no real wear, the lines that go across the skirt are still very visable Should be able to use these pistons in the later R80's to increase compression ratio and some gain in power.
