This is an original Jaguar saloon Steel Parcel or Map or newspaper Box, below the center dashboard panel from a MKII or Mark 2, 240, 340 1959-1969, OR Daimler 2.5 saloon.It had rust but no holes. Was treated with an anti rust compound, then painted black Rustoleum hammered paint. The inside needs to be lined with felt.This is quite rare. NOTE, I am selling the wood capping trim on another ad. I also have many other MKI, MKII , Daimler and Jaguar Saloon parts... please inquire, or look on my eBay...
