For your consideration: an OEM Engine Control Unit from a 2004 Volkswagen Passat with 1.8l turbo engine and 4 Motion Automatic transmission. This will work on other 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 Passat and Audi A4 models with the 1.8l or 2.0lt engine as well, but please match your ECU code exactly before purchasing. This will need to matched/flashed, or defeated by a tuner, to your current immobilizer or your car's factory immobilizer will prevent it from starting the engine beyond the service mode...
