This was from a 1970's Mercury 500 with a seized distributor.The yellow wires test 0.5 Ohms, there is a spot where the black sleeve wore through. I opened it up and did not see any issues with yellow wires. The rectifier may have a bad diode, I'm not in love with the auto ranging meter I used to test it with.Sold as is for parts, no returns.
