This is an original GM Big Block Chevy engine block with factory bolt main caps. The casting number is 3855962. The 3855962 block with 4 bolt mains was used exclusively on the following applications: 1965 Corvette L78 396/425HP, 1965 Chevelle Z16 396/375HP, 1966 Chevelle 396/360HP, and 1966 Chevelle 396/375HP.
