1977-78 Kawasaki KZ1000 A1 A2 Engine Crankcase Set pn# 14001-5025. Cases have an assigned serial number stamped into them. Typically, that means it was a OEM factory replacement case purchased from a dealer. This case had a 1978 model year crankshaft installed. Missing the 2 longer main bolts missing in the pics There are differences from the 900 case, most obvious and biggest is the shifter return spring has 4 turns on the 1015cc motor vs 3 turns on the 903cc Z1.
