1982 Yamaha XT550 engine bottom end. The engine number is 5Y1-003193. The history of the engine is unknown, and we're not sure why it has been taken apart. There are some small chips in the aluminum around the sprocket area(see photo). The crank has some surface rust from storage(see photo). The seam on the underside of the engine between the case halves has epoxy on it(see photos), we're unsure if the epoxy is there to fix a leak, or patch case damage.
