Here is a 356/912 unstamped engine case. It is a late B case with a larger oil pump, the same as the C/SC engine. Apparently, it has large holes for a 912 type mount, which can easily be used in a 356 model by just using large 912 nuts.It has an L stamped in the first boss where the assembler stamped his L . It has probably been ground off. I guarantee it to be spec. Please ask any and all questions. Thanks to Vincent for pointing out these differences....
