Several years ago we purchased the inventory of a reputable local machine shop that closed, and it included a number of partially rebuilt engines. This is a Jeep 258 bare block, casting number EF3235444. Dated 1984. It has been hot tanked, honed, and new cam bearings installed. A couple cylinders have some pitting in the bores that you can feel with a fingertip (visible in photos). Bores measure 3.777" at the deck.
