These are Type 3 German Pierburg VW6 stamped fuel pumps. The type 3 fuel pumps use a slightly thicker main diaphragm spring for a 4 PSI fuel pressure vs. the 3 PSI on type 1 and 2 fuel pumps. These fuel pumps are fully rebuilt/restored with new Effbe ethanol rated diaphragms. All the steel hard parts were inspected for wear after cleaning. They were then stripped of their old zinc plating. The parts were re bright zinc plated. All the mating surfaces were machine leveled on a milling machine aft...
