I have a fuel tank from a 1973 mazda rx2 2 door automatic, I removed this tank from a parts car in 1999. I've had it stored mostly in a shed or garage since then. It came from an arizona car and has been in az since then. It has no dents and only light surface rust. It has no smell of fuel inside and from my limited ability to look, has no rust inside.
