I found this antique gas cap with my metal detector in a long-vacant lot in Brownwood, Texas in 2020. I could only find one other like it listed on the Internet and that seller suggested it was from a Buick. The outside of the chromed brass cap is 3" in diameter. The inside is 2.5" in diameter. I believe it's probably from the 1930s. Weight - 3.5 oz. Very nice condition for its age. Scratches and wear but no cracks or other visible damage. See photos for details....
