New old stock /Original equipment manufacturer. If u need a part it is the best one to purchase. It tends to fit better and easier also, because it was made to specs of the machine. A new part is made by a copy of those specs. As it goes, when u start copying originals the spec numbers become a little smeared, and so the new part ends up being somewhat inferior. It makes for a better machine when NOS/OEM are used....
