The Auburn Automobile Company closed its doors in 1937. The Company and its remaining parts inventory were purchased by Dallas Winslow, a Detroit entrepreneur in 1938. The Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Company (ACD Co.) began offering replacement parts to the now orphaned car owners and would also provide service work.
