This is a rare original wiring junction block that fits in the bonnet of XKE or in front of a Mark X or 420G. This may be one of the least known and most reliable parts made by Lucas. It was used on Mark X, then also used inside the bonnets of XKE rom 1961-1974. This was removed about 40 years ago, so would be a good replacement if yours has 50 years of salt damage.
