This cover does not replace the factory headlight cover, it is a snap-on and Velcro(TM) fastener design that sits in front of the factory lens cover. Nothing to remove, these are very easy to install, 5 minutes or less. Made of acrylic, 10x more impact resistant than glass. These protect the OEM lenses from stone chips and cracks.
