For all 1970 thru 1974 AMX & Javelin, this steering column seal blocks out wind noise and anything else from engine compartment to interior of car. There are two ways to mount it; one is remove bolts at steering box and slide it on; the other is cut thin side with razor and slide it on at firewall, then bolt up.
