This is an original tachometer for 1960-1961 Corvettes with the 283/270HP engine. This is the engine with dual 4 barrel carburetors and the high lift camshaft. The part number ink stamped on the backside is 1549041. From what I have found, this appears to be for the 1960-1961 2x4 high lift cam applications only.
