Looks exactly like a gauge found on a 1973 GT750. Bezel has a dent, and is in serious need of paint, but it all works. This comes from a very large, wide ranging parts collection from a former dealer. I don't know the bike it was in last. The dimension given in the title is the diameter behind the bezel, or the size of the hole that the gauge will go in.
