2-pin for 1983 cars. Function same as 1982 difference being the chrome vs. black center trim. Both tach and clock tested and work great. Will not work on 84-85 cars. Those require the 3 pin gauge. If your tach doesn’t work check the amplifier first before you suspect the gauge itself. The twist-on black cylinder on the driver inner fender.
