This is an Original GM aluminum intake for a Big Block Chevy engine with retangular port heads and a Holley carb. The casting number is 3962569. The 3963569 intake was used by GM on the following applications: 1970 L78 396(402)/375HP and 1970-1971 LS6 454/450HP engines. The oil splash shield was removed at some point revealing a casting date of 8.19.69. The casting date is on the underside of the intake cannot be seen when installed.
