You are purchasing a Resin Printed key cover for the 2004 STI Titanium key. By default the 2004 key DOES NOT work in newer Subarus as they switched to using a 4D62 immobilizer chip in 2005. Without a chip the key would start the car and it would immediately shut off. This cover allows you to add that chip to the 2004 key so it can be used in newer Subarus.
