UPDATE 2/3/25:I forgot to report that sometime in the nineties the driver door got damaged, and the original owner put a different door on. Since the door data label was incorrect for the car, he took it to the DMV to certify the correct VIN#. DMV attached a small tag to the aft door pillar with the certified, correct VIN#.
