1955 V-8 ENGINE OIL DIP STICK TUBE A new dip stick tube for a 1955 Chevy with an 8 cylinder. A 1955 265 uses a smaller diameter tube than 1956 & up. Correct original style tube. Fits only 1955 265 V-8 which uses a 3/8" outside diameter tube. NOTE: If the engine in your 1955 has an oil filter on the back of the block on the drivers side, you have a later year engine in your 1955 and this tube will not fit.
