This is a good early style rear window defroster switch for the dash switch panel on Classic Saab 900 cars from 1983 up thru the 1985 model year. The part # is 85 84 591 and I tested this switch on my car. Unlike the other switches these do not stay depressed once pushed. If you push the button and the light on the dash does not stay on, the relay is the problem and not the switch. Try pushing the button quickly as these sometimes takes two pushes to work....
