DESCRIPTION Rare OEM 1971 AMC Javelin AMX Tapered Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished to represent the factory appearance as produced for the early 71 models. It features the rare tapered snorkel specific to early 1971 with no pre-heater provisions. The base is in very good condition and has a single drain hole in the rear - allowing it to be used as either a closed element or Cowl Induction base, as well as the front breather tube.
