This is a seal remover and install tool, along with a new seal, for the shift shaft seal on the following Dodge/ Plymouth / Chrysler transmissions: 42RH / 42RE46 RH / 46RE47RH / 47RE48RE These transmissions were made from about 1990 to 2008 This allows for replacement of this shift shaft seal without the need to remove the valve body and the transmission pan.
