I originally made these to help layout headers but they work with roll cages or anything else where you need to layout an angular rotation on a tube. The large marks that are raised up and high lighted are at every 45 degrees. On sizes 1.50″ and larger the small marks are every 5 degrees. This is changed to 9 degrees on 1.25″ and smaller sizes (lack of room).To use it you just snap the tool over the tube and align with your 0 degree mark then find your target and mark with a fine tip sharpie...
