this was on my 2004 fz1 for about 400 miles. was installed w\ new 44t rear & did x ring chain. i went to this gearing to give a little better mpg on highway, which it did, & this also fixed the speedo being inaccurate. it also made the driveline quieter by moving the chain further away from the plastic chain sliders on swing arm. i just went back to a 16t because the 17t wasnt the best for having a passnger. 15t would b better if ur 200lb & or carry a passenger. used, like new. not even fully br...
