This is an original Ford air cleaner for a 289 engine that fits Mustang Falcon Fairlane Mercury Cougar and more. The base and lid are in good shape. The base was originally blue and appears not to have been repainted. The lid was originally chromed, but the chrome is shot. This air cleaner body was off a 1965 1966 or 1967 Mustang and other Ford cars. The snorkel is was not cleaned as that would destroy the spring inside.
