This is a new very high quality and very correct fire wall felt grommet kit. This is for the standard production WWII Ford GPW. These replaced the rubber grommets in late 1942 early 1943. This is when the Japanese took Burma and started the rubber shortage here in the states. Jeep production had to find ways around using rubber product, felt was the answer.
