This is an original NOS horn rod for the M38, M38A1 and M170 military jeeps. This is the rod that slips down the center of the steering column. It has a threaded end for the push disk on the top side. (sorry, still trying to find some). When the horn button is pushed this rod pushes the button on the switch located on the bottom of the steering box. These are very rare originals.
