This is a new correct fitting headlight bulb retainer ring. This will fit the CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ3B, M38, M38A1, and CJ5. This is the little sheet metal ring that holds the bulb in the socket. These are really bad about the originals rusting out or breaking at the welds. This is a bit thinner (the band is a little thinner in depth) than the original but does the exact thing. These have a silver zinc finish but are able to be painted for the military jeeps. (see third picture) Don't use that old rusty...
