New old stock AMC ashtray retainer with a parts tag. We could not find part number 989425 anywhere to confirm it's application. Casting number is 'L-7534' which may help identify it for you. GM must have used the same supplier as that number is very much like GM numbers from that era. Parts tag is dated 1973, so we would think the application would be late 60's to early 70's.
