Tire gauge does work but may need new “O” rings to be completely accurate. This unit does unscrew and does look serviceable. Looks to be made out of a mix of steel, brass and copper. Has a well aged tarnish coloring with a worn area around the pressure body. Be a great accessory for that old farm, ranch, field find shop truck build or hotrod for t.r.o.g.
