 This is a Reproduction of the Original Made here in the USA They are exact replica’s of the Originals These have a light copper coating to prevent rust... Fits.... 72-79 VW Bus  & 80-83 Vanagon  This washer attaches to the crank Hub on the engine, and then the fan is attached. Installation is between the hub, & the fan Failure to use this spacer will result in front seal damage, and possible fan housing damage.
