This is a NEW distributor cap which fits all 8 cylinder 1949-1956 Fords and Mercurys, all 1955-1956 Thunderbirds, all 1952-1955 Lincolns and 1949-1956 Ford trucks. This cap is made in the USA and has the raised "1" for #1 cylinder on the top of the cap. It also has the original copper inserts for the plug wires which gives the best electrical conductivity.
