This is an OEM ELRING Front Crankshaft Seal Kit for N52,N54 vehicles, up to 2/2011 production date. These vehicles require special sealing primer and compound , in order for the seal to be installed properly and avoid leaks. The seal has 2 small gaps that need to be primed , then sealing compound applied after the seal was installed. Very important, you don’t want to do the job a second time.
