I got these in a large parts lot from a Mercedes collector who specialized in the W111 coupe. I have two identical pieces with different ends on them. See photo 12. The other is listed separately. The trim is the aftermarket door ding protection that was used in the 70's and 80's.Basically detail, body shops and even dealers bought the metal strips in long lengths, and cut it down to whatever size they needed.
