This is a REPRODUCTION Delco radio noise filter/ suppressor. The original Delco part number was # 1222834. This plugs into the rear of the radio, then the original radio connector plugs into this. It was a 1968 Delco retro-fix to eliminate or reduce radio 'NOISE', whine complaints, caused by the vehicle's alternator, power accessories, and was helpful with ignition system 'audio tach' .
