Here is a radio face plate repair panel. It is made so you can put this in side a face plate covering it to make it look new. This might be a NOS part. it came in a box of radio face plates that came from an estate of an old radio repair man that started back in about 1947. This plate is black on one side and wood grain on the other side. I believe you can put out what ever side you want. it is 6 1/2 inches wide and 1 13/16 inches high.
