Came out of a 1984 BMW 733i. This unit was tested before removal and is in good working condition. The unit function with ease and does not stuck in any position you move it to. The symbol is still in great shape and does not show any major signs of wear. None of the connector pins are broken, missing or bent. This is a OEM BMW unit.
